About Our Products
Every piece is made with intention—from design to delivery.
We use direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, allowing for detailed, high-quality prints that feel soft and natural on the fabric. Our garments are printed using industry-leading technology with water-based, eco-friendly inks that are biodegradable, non-toxic, and free from harmful substances like heavy metals and formaldehyde. These inks meet strict global safety standards, including Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certification, ensuring they are safe for everyday wear.
To maintain consistency and quality, our print partner follows a rigorous 4-stage quality control process, resulting in extremely low defect rates and ensuring every item meets a high standard before it reaches you.
Garment Information & Fit Guide
At Symbolic Shift, we currently print most designs on two main garment styles: the Bella+Canvas 3001 and the Comfort Colors 1717. While both are high-quality shirts, they have very different looks, fits, and textures.
Bella+Canvas 3001
The Bella+Canvas 3001 is a lighter-weight, softer, more modern-fitting t-shirt. It has a slightly longer body, smoother surface, and a cleaner print finish. Designs on the 3001 often appear sharper and more vibrant due to the tighter fabric weave.

• Slightly slimmer/longer fit
Comfort Colors 1717
The Comfort Colors 1717 is a heavier garment-dyed shirt with a thicker, vintage-style feel. It has a more relaxed fit and a washed-in look that many people love for its comfort and character. Because of the garment-dyed fabric and texture, prints may appear slightly softer or less crisp compared to the Bella+Canvas 3001 — this is normal and part of the style of the shirt.
Best for:
• Heavier premium feel
• Vintage/worn-in aesthetic
• Relaxed fit
• Soft washed colors and texture
Important Note on Mockups & Printing
Mockup images can sometimes make prints appear brighter or sharper than they look in real life. Actual printed garments — especially garment-dyed shirts like the Comfort Colors 1717 — may have a slightly softer, more natural print appearance. We prefer to be upfront about this so you know exactly what to expect when your shirt arrives.
If you are looking for the cleanest and sharpest possible print detail, the Bella+Canvas 3001 is usually the better option. If you want a heavier, vintage-feeling shirt with character and texture, the Comfort Colors 1717 is an amazing choice.

All orders are printed and shipped from Canada, supporting local production while ensuring reliable delivery. Each item is carefully packaged to protect it in transit while keeping shipping efficient and cost-effective.
